Welcome to the
RHYO Archery Programme
ABOUT ARCHERY
Our team of RHYO Volunteers includes fully qualified instructors accredited in Great Britain. We are excited to provide archery sessions for schools, community groups, and at our special events.

Join us for our exciting Archery sessions, open participants aged 10 and above! Each session lasts for an hour and a half, where you'll learn the fundamentals of shooting an arrow with expert guidance. After the instructional segment, enjoy some free shooting time and participate in fun games to enhance your skills. Come and experience the thrill of archery with us!

Why do Archery?
Archery offers a range of physical, mental, and well-being benefits. It is a discipline that calls for focus, strength, and determination. Regardless of whether you’re a competitive athlete or a first-time participant, archery provides a rewarding experience for both body and mind. For those who shoot recreationally, the health benefits are clear—each session requires deep concentration, helping to quiet the mind and encourage relaxation as you zero in on the target, making it easy to leave everyday stresses behind.
When does Archery run?
Archery winter months (October- March). Will be held at Lockerbie Town Hall
Usually, we will run Archery once a month.
Nearer the summer months (April-Sept), these might be extended and will be inside and outside.
